A Peek Inside Mariska Hargitay's Home

Mariska Hargitay's home is a sanctuary that is a tribute to her life and family. In her downtown Manhattan apartment nearly every inch is covered by those memories. "I'm obsessed with pictures and memories," she says.

Son August's toys and photos are present and give her home that lived in quality that every home needs. Her bedroom includes a nook for August's bassinet with a linen armchair where the family enjoys bedtime stories.

She says, "It's such a blessing to get things later in life - to become successful later in life, to get married later and have a baby. I'm a better wife, better mother, better actor. I have the perfect life, and I want to take out an ad: 'HANG IN THERE, LADIES!' As my father always said, 'Life is what you make it.'"
